Stephen Gray, together with his father, Kevin was one of the leading training teams in New Zealand. They finished consistently amongst the top 10 in the New Zealand Trainers' Premierships. Gray relocated to Singapore in 2000 and has quickly climbed through the grades to be among the most successful trainers at Kranji. His major successes include the 2001 Kranji Sprint with ST KENTIGERN, the 2003 Patrons' Bowl with LIM'S REWARD and the 2007 Emirates Singapore Derby with LIM'S PRESTIGE.

Steven Burridge has been in the racing industry since 1970 when he started out as an apprentice jockey licensed by the Victoria Racing Club. He received his professional jockey licence in 1975. He rode on the MRA circuit with a visiting jockey permit in 1987 before riding in Macau from 1989 to 1994. He returned to the MRA circuit in 1994 to work as a track rider for several trainers. From 1999, he was Stable Supervisor to several trainers in Malaysia and Singapore before becoming a trainer in his own right in 2005. Burridge was quick off the mark, earning the distinct honour of being presented the Queen Elizabeth II Cup by Her Majesty herself in 2006 after KING AND KING won the Group 2 event.

Tan Hor Khoon has more than ten years of experience with training horses and stable management. He started out as a stable supervisor to his brother-in-law Charles Leck. He was later upgraded to the position of assistant trainer by the Macau Jockey Club in 1993. Tan became stable supervisor to Leck in 1996 when the latter moved to the Bukit Timah Racecourse. He was subsequently given an Assistant Trainer's licence by the MRA in 1997 before obtaining his trainer's licence in mid 2001.

Armed with a degree in Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Science (Animal Husbandry), Dr Yeoh Kheng Chye obtained his MRA trainer licence in 1980. Prior to becoming a trainer with the MRA, Dr Yeoh had also spent some years in Newmarket, England under leading trainer, Ryan Jarvis. Though Dr Yeoh heads a small yard, he never fails to make his presence felt on the local circuit, claiming the Anniversary Cup in 1995 and the Merlion Trophy in 2000.
