Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) is the largest Vocational Education provider in Victoria offering Short Courses through to Bachelor degree levels. NMIT offers a comprehensive range of equine courses: * Bachelor of Equine Studies * Diploma of Equine Stud Management * Certificate II Racing (Advanced Stablehand) * Certificate II Racing (Stablehand) * Certificate III Racing (Thoroughbred Trackrider) * Certificate III Racing (Thoroughbred Owner Trainer) * Certificate II Racing (Thoroughbred Trainer) * Certificate III Farriery Students have the added advantage of utilising the Institute's Northern Lodge Stud which operates as an educational and practical training facility as well as a commercial thoroughbred enterprise.
